November is here so we have curated a list of what’s happening around the city this month.


29 October – 27 November
Dubai Fitness Challenge 

Running since last month and for most of November, this annual fitness festival is open to everyone. All you have to do is complete 30 minutes of activity every day, for 30 days.

There are a number of different locations across Dubai where you can take part in free fitness classes, sporting events, group workout sessions and healthy eating tutorials. Whether it’s yoga, cycling, HIIT or dance, you’ll be able to find an activity and work towards a healthier lifestyle.


1 November – 30 November
UAE Vine Festival

The UAE Vine Festival is a month-long celebration of grapes in all shapes, showcasing some of the very best wine, food and hospitality on offer across the UAE.

The festival features some of the biggest names in F&B as well as some of the most spectacular venues. Experience blind tastings and masterclasses by some of the region’s top sommeliers.

You can choose several events hosted by The Tasting Class with packages starting from 220 AED per person. 

This is your chance to improve your wine knowledge or experiment with some of the newest grapes. The team offers unprecedented expertise on wines, Champagnes and beyond, making for a superb edutainment event.


4 November – 12 November
Diwali Fireworks

Catch the fireworks at Bluewaters Street Festival. The show starts at 8:30 pm or you can watch them at Festival City Mall from 9:30 pm. Alternatively, Global Village has it all in one. The culture carnival and global shopping adventure. Several stage shows, parades and traditional performances will be happening on 4, 5, 11 and 12 November from 9 pm.


8 November
Andrea Bocelli

If you’re looking for something a little more classical you can see Mr Andrea Bocelli live at Jumeirah Beach Hotel as part of his latest international tour. For those who don’t know, you might recognise his most famous 1996 track “Time to Say Goodbye”. Doors open from 7 pm and tickets start from AED 750.


8 November – 12 November
Downtown Design

Downtown Design is the Middle East’s only fair dedicated to high-quality design. The showcase runs for five days and covers everything artsy from furniture and carpets to lighting and home accessories, as well as interviews and discussions with leading architects, designers, and experts. Head down to Dubai Design District for this event.


10 November – 13 November
ABBA Reunion

Experience the greatest Abba songs live from the famous Queen Elizabeth II docked at Port Rashid. Doors open from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM and the show starts at 8 pm. Tickets are from AED 150 – Mamma Mia! 


18 November – 22 November
Atlantis Culinary Month

If you’re a foodie and want to meet celebrity chefs, sample special set menus and attend limited-edition experiences this is culinary opportunity is happening at Atlantis on The Palm. Tickets range from AED 150 – AED 1445.


18 November – 21 November
DP World Championship

For the golf fans, this event is for you.

Top European Tour players will take to the greens at Jumeirah Golf Estates for a highly competitive match. Winners walk away with a significant prize fund at this much-awaited sporting showcase, which has been a prime date in Dubai’s golfing calendar for more than a decade. The competition tees off an exciting day for fans across the globe. 


19 November
Wadi Bih Run: Hatta

Why not take on the adventurous mountain trail run and challenge yourself to conquer one of the UAE’s toughest terrains on foot ranging from 70km, 35km, 20km or 10km.? It’s an early start at 5:30 am and tickets to sign up are from AED 290 – AED 1450.


24 November
Dubai Watch Week

If you’re into watches, you might want to get down to the Gate at DIFC. We are all fascinated by some of the exceptional designs of watches and the watch industry has definitely changed over the last year. 


26 November
The Beach Swim

This is another fun activity to dive right into. The Beach Swim takes place at JBR. You can join the race and take part from AED 100 – AED 175.  Ages 8-11 can take join the 200m swim and the 400m race is for anyone over 10 years old. There’s also an 800m race and for the professional swimmers wanting a real challenge you can take on the one-mile route. The races start at 5:30 am so don’t be late. 


27 November
DXB Supercar Parade

This is your chance to check out the hottest wheels in the city!
An awe-inspiring line-up of some of the top luxury cars in the world from Ferraris to Bugattis you’ll see it all.
